He initially entered college as an electrical engineering major, but changed his major and graduated a meteorologist. I’m not really good at anything I do, but I will work harder than anybody else,” Spann said. “I will always be thankful for learning to have a good work ethic. Through his hard childhood, he developed a strong work ethic. “That little book I read in first grade started me on a journey I am still on today.”Ībandoned by his father at the age of seven, Spann was forced to grow up quickly.
